YOUR TRAUMA INTO TRIUMPHS
TRANSFORM
& YOUR WEAKNESSES INTO WINS

Dr. Dymond A. Booth, PsyD
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Dr. Dymond A. Booth is a trauma-informed life-coach and psychologist with a deep-rooted heart for helping survivors of trauma reclaim hope, rebuild confidence, and live with purposeful intention.

Dr. Dymond found an early passion for mental health that stretched beyond the science of the brain's anatomical structure. In late elementary school, this Charm City girl had a vision for walking along side people in their darkest nightmares and loneliest hours. Having battled mental and spiritual battles of her own at a young age, she understood on an intimate level the suffocating pressure of depression, anxiety, and insecurities. And while the teachings of charismatic Baptist pastors and the fervent prayers of loved ones provided interim comfort and support — they did not answer the question burning in her spirit: "How do I get over this?"

In search of an answer, Dr. Dymond found that there was not one single solitary answer, but two: faith and psychology. It became clear that faith laid the foundation for healing and psychology formed the pillars. After a deeply personal encounter with the love of God, she discovered that personal relationship - beyond the traditional practices of religion - was what made the shift from hopelessness to hopefulness possible. In the same vein, she discovered that psychology provided the disciplines, practices, and mental frameworks that strengthen the mind, regulate the emotions, and shape the behaviors needed to sustain that restored sense of hope. Taking her new insights with her, she attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. and earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a focus in trauma and suicidality.

Today, with over 10 years of frontline work — spanning inpatient hospitalization, outpatient treatment, in-home services, community shelters, and college counseling centers throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. — Dr. Dymond lives out those elementary visions she had as a child through her current work as a personal life-coach, clinical consult, philanthropist, and writer. Beyond her professional life, she finds joy in water sports, art, and snuggling up with her tribe of ferocious Chihuahuas.

Coaching
Philosophy

"Sometimes the ones who need love the most,
ask for it in the most unloving ways."
Each of us, when under distress, pressure, or pain, has the potential to show up in ways that are not always loving — and that does not make us unworthy, it makes us human. I believe that we are imperfect beings who sometimes need guidance, accountability, and support as we grow into the version God intended us to become.
Every person has the potential to improve their life, and my work centers on helping clients reconnect with that potential and activate it with clarity, courage, and structure. My coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that transformation requires both faith and intentional personal development. I guide clients in strengthening the mind, nurturing emotional resilience, and cultivating behaviors that support sustainable growth.

As a coach, I believe in partnership — not hierarchy. My clients have responsibilities and so do I. We co-create a plan that is customized to their goals, capacity, season, and readiness. Clients are encouraged to come as their honest and authentic selves, no matter how broken, chaotic, or messy life feels in that moment. I partner with them to streamline their goals into clear actions, dismantle limiting beliefs, break mental barriers, and build systems that support sustainable forward momentum.
I also believe true progress is only possible from a stable and safe baseline; therefore, I encourage clients who are actively unsafe or at risk to seek appropriate mental health support and remain in therapy as needed. My role is to guide reflection, nurture growth, and empower my clients to execute — not just imagine — the life they desire.
